According to the order issued by the SED Secretary, winter vacations for Pre-primary Balvatika classes will begin from November 26, 2025, and continue until February 28, 2026.

For students from Class 1 to 8, the winter break will be observed from December 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, while for Classes 9 to 12, the vacations will commence on December 11, 2025, and conclude on February 22, 2026.

The department has directed all teaching staff to remain available during the vacation period for any academic engagement. Teachers have been asked to report back to their respective institutions on February 20, 2026, to prepare for the reopening of schools.

The order further warns that any violation of the notified schedule by Heads of Institutions or teaching staff will invite strict action under service rules.
