Kralgund (Handwara): Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Tuesday reiterated that issues concerning National Conference (NC) leader Aga Ruhullah are an internal matter of the NC and have no bearing on his party.
Speaking at a public outreach programme in Kralgund, Handwara, Bukhari said the Apni Party is committed to safeguarding the rights of every community, adding that no Muslim student will be denied admission to Mata Vaishno Devi University, as constitutional protections ensure equal opportunities for all.
“The law protects every student. This issue has nothing to do with us. Whatever is going on between Aga Ruhullah and the NC is their internal matter,” Bukhari stated.
Reaffirming the party’s agenda, he said the Apni Party continues to advocate for robust youth engagement, stronger domicile protections, and the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
“Our focus is on addressing the aspirations of the youth and ensuring that domicile laws effectively safeguard the rights of local residents. The restoration of statehood remains a central commitment of the Apni Party,” he said.
