Nowshera, Nov 10: In a significant step towards improving rural connectivity, Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Surinder Chaudhary, on Sunday laid the foundation stone for a 95-metre motorable bridge at Katera Jagir (Narian) in Nowshera. The project, which also includes approach roads, fulfills a decades-old demand of the local residents for dependable transportation infrastructure.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the new bridge would ease movement for thousands of residents, enhance access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities, and promote overall development in the region.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to strengthening rural infrastructure and ensuring inclusive growth across all regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
