Srinagar, Nov 5: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday delivered the keynote address at Vishwagram’s International Symposium, where he outlined a new vision for the Union Territory anchored in peace, prosperity, and empowerment.
In his address, the Lt Governor emphasized the government’s unwavering resolve to build a “rising Jammu and Kashmir that is peaceful, fear-free, prosperous, and united.” He said the administration is working tirelessly to ensure that every citizen benefits from India’s rapid progress and inclusive development.
Sinha also reaffirmed the government’s strong commitment to maintaining peace, justice, and equity across the region. “We have a strong resolve to dismantle the terror ecosystem and are determined to strengthen socio-economic development, turning the dreams of our youth into reality,” he stated.
Highlighting the transformative journey of the Union Territory, the Lt Governor said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu and Kashmir is moving steadily toward stability, inclusivity, and sustainable growth.
He also underscored various developmental initiatives aimed at enhancing infrastructure, boosting the economy, and generating employment opportunities for young people.
The symposium, attended by scholars, policymakers, and representatives from various institutions, focused on themes of sustainable development, cultural harmony, and innovation in governance.
