SRINAGAR: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced by-elections for two vacant Assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir — Budgam (27) and Nagrota (77) — to be held on November 11, 2025.Polling will take place from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and the election process will conclude by November 16. The Budgam seat fell vacant after Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s resignation, while Nagrota became vacant following the death of senior leader Devender Singh Rana.As per the schedule, October 20 is the last date for filing nominations, October 22 for scrutiny, and October 24 for withdrawal of candidature.
