Srinagar, September 05: The Jammu and Kashmir Youth Services and Sports Department has launched a new podcast titled “Khel Khel Mein” to spotlight the inspiring journeys of athletes across the region.

Director General Youth Services and Sports, Anuradha Gupta, said the initiative aims to provide visibility to players at the district, national, and international levels. The podcast will feature accomplished athletes and renowned coaches who will share their experiences, offer guidance, and interact with young sportspersons.

Gupta noted that many children across J&K are actively engaged in sports and deserve recognition. “Through platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and this podcast, we aim to highlight their stories and achievements,” she said.

She added that under the J&K Sports Policy, the Directorate has a key role in spreading sports awareness, and this initiative will serve as an effective tool for that purpose.

“Our mission, ‘Sports for All, Fitness for All,’ can only be achieved with active participation from civil society and the community,” Gupta emphasized.
