GANDERBAL, Sept 23 — Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo on Tuesday inaugurated a Mega Health Camp at District Hospital Ganderbal under Sewa Parv and Swasth Naari Sashakt Parivaar Abhiyaan.
During the camp, senior citizens above the age of 70 were issued Golden Health Cards under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. The programme also featured NCD screenings, general health check-ups, TB screenings, and mental health stalls aimed at strengthening preventive and promotive healthcare services.
On the occasion, the Chief Secretary also took stock of the ongoing health infrastructure projects in the district, including the upcoming 50-bed Critical Care Block and the District Integrated Public Health Care Laboratory. He further inspected the Mortuary, Administrative Building, and Public Canteen of the hospital.
Later, Mr. Dulloo visited the Kheer Bhawani Temple to review the progress of the Yatri Niwas project. He emphasized timely completion and adherence to high-quality standards to ensure better facilities for pilgrims.
