June 19:A group of 94 students from Jammu and Kashmir, who were stranded in Iran, have safely arrived in New Delhi. The update was shared by former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on X (formerly Twitter), where he confirmed their safe arrival.
“94 of our students evacuated from Iran have safely reached Delhi. The Government is making transport arrangements to ensure their smooth journey home, which will be in place within the next few hours,” Abdullah posted.
Government officials are coordinating logistics to facilitate the students’ return to their respective hometowns in Jammu and Kashmir. More details regarding their onward travel are expected soon.
