SRINAGAR, Apr 24 — The Jammu and Kashmir Police have identified three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists believed to be responsible for the deadly April 22 attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives. The suspects include two Pakistani nationals and one local resident of Anantnag district.
Police have released sketches of the trio and placed a ₹20 lakh bounty on each of them. The local militant has been identified as Adil Hussain Thoker of Anantnag. The other two suspects, believed to be Pakistani operatives, are known by the aliases Ali Bhai (also Talha Bhai) and Hasim Musa (also Suleiman).

In response to the brutal attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a firm statement from Madhubani, Bihar, during the National Panchayati Raj Day event. He assured the nation that those behind the attack will face swift and decisive justice.
“The country mourns the loss of innocent lives in Pahalgam. India will not rest until every terrorist, every conspirator, and their backers are brought to justice,” said the Prime Minister. “We will track them down, no matter where they hide. The resolve of 140 crore Indians is unbreakable.”
Before addressing the gathering, PM Modi observed a moment of silence in memory of the victims, reaffirming the government’s commitment to combating terrorism with full force and international cooperation.
