SRINAGAR: After a short spell of improved weather, traffic movement has been partially resumed along the Srinagar–Jammu National Highway, officials said on Wednesday.
Vehicles are currently being allowed to pass through the stretch between Nashri and the NAVYUG Tunnel as clearance operations continue.
In a positive development, the Kishtwar–Sinthan route has been reopened for full traffic flow.
Earlier in the day, authorities had suspended travel on the Jammu–Srinagar highway following flash floods and a mudslide in the Ramban district, which were caused by heavy rainfall.
