Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: President Droupadi Murmu on Friday attended the closing ceremony of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of Bharat Scouts and Guides and addressed participants at the organisation’s 19th National Jamboree in Lucknow.

Speaking on the occasion, President Murmu said it was a matter of pride that Bharat Scouts and Guides has been consistently guiding the country’s youth and motivating them to play an active role in nation-building. She praised the organisation for instilling discipline, service, and leadership qualities among young people.

Emphasising the national vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047, the President urged the youth to contribute to this goal with determination and commitment. She noted that the energy and dedication of young citizens would be crucial in achieving India’s developmental aspirations.

The event marked the culmination of the 75-year celebrations of Bharat Scouts and Guides, bringing together thousands of scouts, guides, trainers, and volunteers from across the country.
