New Delhi, June 4:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, Richard Marles, in New Delhi today to mark the fifth anniversary of the India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The meeting underscored the growing importance of the bilateral relationship and its role in ensuring a stable Indo-Pacific region.

During their talks, the two leaders held a productive discussion on further deepening the strategic partnership between the two nations. Key areas of cooperation, including defence, trade, education, and regional security, were reviewed as both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties.

“This partnership, which marks its fifth year today, reflects our shared values and aspirations for a stable, secure, and prosperous Indo-Pacific,” Prime Minister Modi noted following the meeting.
