Jammu, November 25 — Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, attended the closing ceremony of the 69th National School Games 2025, organised by the Department of Youth Services & Sports in collaboration with the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), held in Jammu on Thursday.
Addressing the gathering, LG Sinha lauded the young athletes for their dedication, discipline and sportsmanship displayed throughout the event. He said that such platforms play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the nation by instilling confidence, teamwork and a sense of responsibility among students.
The LG emphasised the need to nurture the spirit of oneness and brotherhood through sports, stating that games have the unique power to unite people beyond boundaries. “Sports can help us build a better world, one that is free from discrimination and rooted in equality,” he said.
