Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today addressed the Jammu Trade & Logistics Conclave-2025, highlighting Jammu’s growing role as a major trade and logistics hub.
He said the region is rapidly emerging as a crucial link connecting Ladakh and the Kashmir Valley with the country’s trade corridors. The LG noted that significant improvements in road and rail connectivity over the past five years have unlocked Jammu’s economic potential.
Sinha emphasised that a robust storage, logistics, and warehousing ecosystem is essential to propel the economy towards self-reliance. Such an ecosystem, he said, would strengthen direct linkages between producers and consumers while meeting the aspirations of traders, industrialists, farmers, artisans, and MSMEs.
