Jal Shakti Minister Javed Rana on Wednesday conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing water supply management and infrastructure development projects across the Jammu region. The review meeting focused on assessing the progress of various schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) and evaluating strategies for long-term water sustainability.
During the review, Minister Rana expressed concern over delays in the execution of some JJM projects and stressed the urgent need for their timely completion. He directed the concerned departments to fast-track the implementation process to ensure that the mission’s objectives of providing safe and adequate drinking water to every rural household are met at the earliest.
