SRINAGAR: An Indo-Australian delegation comprising senior diplomats and officials from Australia visited the revered Hazratbal Shrine in Srinagar on Tuesday, where they paid their respects.The delegation was warmly received by Darakhsha Andrabi, Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, alongside local administrators and members of the shrine management. They were briefed on the historical and spiritual significance of Hazratbal, which holds immense reverence for Muslims across Kashmir as it houses the sacred relic of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).Officials present said the diplomats showed keen interest in understanding the religious and cultural traditions associated with the shrine. They lauded the spiritual ambiance of Hazratbal, describing it as a profound reflection of Kashmir’s rich cultural and communal harmony.
