Ahmedabad, July 31: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated the Travel & Tourism Fair in Ahmedabad today, promoting the Union Territory’s rich tourism potential.He was accompanied by Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani, MLA Pahalgam Altaf Kaloo, and MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah.
The delegation highlighted J&K’s scenic beauty, cultural diversity, and warm hospitality.Inviting travellers to explore the region, the Chief Minister described Jammu and Kashmir as “an experience of serenity, adventure, and rich tradition.” The J&K pavilion drew significant attention from visitors and industry stakeholders.The event marked a key step in the government’s efforts to boost tourism and attract national and international visitors to the region.
