Jammu, Oct 26: Authorities in Jammu district have imposed a ban on the sale of several desi ghee brands, including SHRI GODHAN Desi Ghee, Eassy Dairy Cow Ghee, and MFP 56 Bhog A2 Desi Ghee, following concerns over food safety standards.

According to officials, the decision was taken as part of ongoing efforts to safeguard public health and ensure that only quality food products are available in the market. The banned ghee brands reportedly failed to meet the requisite safety and quality parameters during inspections.

Vendors and shopkeepers across the district have been instructed to remove the specified products from their shelves immediately, with authorities warning of strict action against those found violating the directive.
