Udhampur, August 1:The Jammu and Kashmir government has approved ₹25 crore for the long-awaited construction of the Salmey Bridge in Udhampur. Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary made the announcement on Friday, calling the project a fulfillment of a key commitment made to the people of the region.
“What we promised, we are delivering. The ₹25 crore approval for the Salmey Bridge is not just a project — it’s a gift from the Omar Abdullah government to the people of Udhampur,” said Choudhary while addressing a public gathering.
