CM Omar Abdullah Expresses Grief Over Student’s Death in Poonch Landslide

Poonch, July 21: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed profound grief over the tragic death of a young student in a landslide that struck a government school in Bainch Kalsan, Poonch district.

Extending his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Chief Minister also wished a speedy recovery to the injured children. He directed the district administration to ensure all necessary medical treatment is provided to the injured.

The Chief Minister has also called for a thorough inquiry into the incident to ascertain the cause and prevent such tragedies in the future.
