SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday said Jammu and Kashmir is progressing steadily despite Pakistan’s attempts to destabilize the region.
Speaking at SKICC, he noted that strong security efforts and central initiatives have driven a visible transformation since 2019.
Highlighting a tourism boom, he said Kashmir saw 24 million visitors by 2024—far more than before August 5, 2019.
Sinha also spoke of reviving traditional tourism circuits and promoting adventure and border tourism, aided by digital tools connecting tourists with the Ministry of Tourism.
