SRINAGAR: Amid the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has announced that more than 500 Indian nationals have been brought back from Iran under Operation Sindhu.
In an update posted on X, the MEA confirmed that the evacuation mission remains ongoing. The latest batches of evacuees, including several students, landed in New Delhi late Friday night and in the early hours of Saturday.The Indian government launched Operation Sindhu to ensure the safe return of its citizens from the region as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East.
