Srinagar, June 3: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday ordered the dismissal of three government employees for their alleged involvement with proscribed terrorist organizations, including Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen.The individuals — Malik Ishfaq Naseer, a police constable; Ajaz Ahmed, a teacher in the School Education Department; and Waseem Ahmad Khan, a junior assistant at Government Medical College, Srinagar — are currently incarcerated on charges related to terrorism.The action was taken under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution of India, which empowers the government to terminate public servants without a formal inquiry in matters concerning national security.
