April 27- In the wake of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, actor Atul Kulkarni visited Kashmir, urging tourists to return to the region and show their support. The ‘Bandish Bandits’ actor shared his journey from Mumbai to Srinagar on his Instagram account, offering a glimpse of his travels. His posts featured pictures of empty flight seats, his boarding pass, and a heartfelt note from the flight crew. Alongside the photos, he wrote, “Mumbai to Srinagar. The crew says they were running full. We need to fill them up again. Chaliye ji, Kashmir chalein.”

Kulkarni also shared a photo from Pahalgam, traditionally a bustling tourist hotspot, now eerily quiet after the attack. The usually vibrant town was visibly empty, reflecting the impact of the tragedy. Despite the chilling atmosphere, the actor captured the serene beauty of Kashmir — clear skies, flowing streams, and peaceful landscapes.

In another powerful moment, Kulkarni posted pictures of local Kashmiris holding placards with the message, “We condemn this attack,” and others proudly waving the Indian flag. He also shared a Hindi poem on Instagram, accompanied by strong hashtags like #ChaloKashmir, #Feet_in_Kashmir, #Kashmiriyat, #Love_Compassion, and #DefeatTerror.

The attack on April 22 at Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam, one of the deadliest in the Valley since the 2019 Pulwama attack, claimed the lives of 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen, with several others injured. Kulkarni’s call for unity and resilience stands as a message to the nation that, despite the hardships, Kashmir’s spirit remains unbroken and deserves the support of its people.
