NEW DELHI, April 22:
Chairman of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on ‘One Nation, One Election’, PP Chaudhary, announced that the committee will hold an important meeting featuring interactions with prominent legal experts.
“As part of tomorrow’s agenda, the committee will engage with former Supreme Court judge Justice Hemant Gupta, Justice SN Jha, Dr. B.S. Chauhan, and senior advocate Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi,” Chaudhary said.
The meeting will be a key step in the JPC’s ongoing efforts to seek expert opinions as it examines the legal and constitutional viability of holding simultaneous elections across the country.
