Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia from April 22-23 marks an important step in reinforcing the long-standing ties between the two nations. This visit, which comes after Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to India in September 2023, highlights the strengthening of the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership. Over the years, the two countries have built strong bilateral relations in various sectors, including trade, defense, technology, and people-to-people exchanges. With a focus on continuing to build upon these areas, this visit is expected to further bolster the diplomatic and strategic cooperation between India and Saudi Arabia.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Saudi Arabia from April 22-23, following an invitation from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who also serves as the Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. This visit will be Modi’s first to the Kingdom during his third term in office, although he has previously traveled there in 2016 and 2019.

The timing of this visit comes after Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s state visit to India in September 2023, where he participated in the G20 Summit and co-chaired the inaugural meeting of the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council.

India and Saudi Arabia have enjoyed a deep and cordial relationship over the years, with robust socio-cultural and trade links. As strategic partners, the two countries share strong ties in multiple sectors, including politics, defense, security, trade, investment, energy, technology, health, education, culture, and people-to-people exchanges. This upcoming visit aims to further enhance the cooperation between the two nations.(ANI)
