Punjab Carpenter Found Dead in Srinagar’s Nishat Area

SRINAGAR: A 25-year-old carpenter from Punjab was found dead in Srinagar’s Nishat area on Sunday, officials said.

The deceased, identified as Malkeet Singh of Amritsar, Punjab, was currently residing in Nishat and working in the Valley as a carpenter.

Officials said he was taken to SMHS Hospital in an unconscious condition, where doctors declared him brought dead. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
