No Significant Weather Activity in J&K Till December 20: MET Srinagar

Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre (MET), Srinagar, on Sunday said that Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness largely stable weather conditions over the next few days, with no significant activity expected till December 20.

According to an update shared by MET Srinagar on X, there is a possibility of light rain or snowfall on December 21 at scattered places in the Kashmir region (KMR) and at isolated locations in the Jammu division (JMU Div).

The forecast further stated that weather conditions are expected to remain partly cloudy from December 22 to 25, while December 26 is likely to be generally cloudy across the Union Territory.

Meanwhile, the weather department has warned that shallow to moderate fog is likely to continue at many places, which may impact visibility, particularly during morning and late-night hours.
