Srinagar, [15/11/2025] — Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic accidental explosion at Nowgam Police Station, which resulted in the loss of several lives and left multiple police personnel injured.

In a statement, the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the incident. He described the loss as “deeply painful” and assured that the government stands in solidarity with the bereaved families during this difficult time.

Abdullah also prayed for the speedy recovery of all those injured in the explosion, directing the authorities to ensure that the wounded personnel receive the best possible medical treatment.

The cause of the accidental blast is under investigation, and officials are working to determine the circumstances leading to the tragedy.
