Delhi/Chandigarh, Oct 25 : In a significant political development, senior Congress leaders Sardar Ranjit Singh Dhillon (Rana Gandiwind), Chairman Block Samiti & Coordinator PPCC, and Advocate Jagmeet Dhillon Gandiwind, Spokesperson Punjab Congress and President Block Congress Committee Gandiwind, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh.
Welcoming them, Chugh said their decision reflects the growing trust of Punjab’s people in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He added that leaders across the state are realising the BJP’s commitment to development, good governance, and national interest.
Chugh also criticised the Aam Aadmi Party government for mismanagement and the Congress for its internal disarray, saying such failures are driving sincere grassroots leaders toward the BJP.
Both Dhillon and Advocate Jagmeet Dhillon expressed confidence that under PM Modi’s leadership, Punjab will witness new levels of stability, progress, and inclusive growth.
