SRINAGAR: National Conference (NC) candidate for Budgam Assembly constituency, Agha Syed Mehmood, on Monday affirmed that Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi remains loyal to the party and will lead its campaign in Budgam.Speaking to reporters, Mehmood said the NC has played a key role in shaping Ruhullah’s political career.

“The party made him what he is today, and his role in the campaign is important,” he said.He added that he has been in constant touch with Ruhullah, describing him as “like my own son.” Mehmood expressed confidence that Ruhullah would actively participate in the campaign, noting that his public statements reflect NC’s stance on issues such as Articles 370 and 35A, not personal opinions.

“Ruhullah is part of the National Conference and will campaign for the party in the upcoming elections,” Mehmood said.
