GUWAHATI, Oct 9: Singer Zubeen Garg’s wife, Garima Saikia Garg, on Thursday said that the artist had indeed given some money to his two personal security officers (PSOs), and investigations into the matter are currently underway.
The two PSOs, identified as Nandeswar Bora and Prabin Baishya, have been suspended after police reportedly detected financial transactions amounting to over ₹1.1 crore from their bank accounts.
Speaking to reporters, Garima clarified that Zubeen had handed over some money to his PSOs to assist in the social work he regularly undertakes.
