Srinagar, Sept 16: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting to review and discuss measures aimed at improving network coverage and extending telecom services across the Union Territory.During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the urgent need to strengthen connectivity in the region, highlighting its role in bridging communication gaps and enhancing accessibility for people living in remote and far-flung areas.He said robust telecom infrastructure was crucial not only for fostering socio-economic growth but also for ensuring timely delivery of essential services and improving emergency response systems.
