SRINAGAR: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has urged citizens not to pay bribes to government officials, employees of state-run corporations, local bodies, or anyone performing public duties.
In an advisory, the CBI Anti-Corruption Branch Srinagar asked people to report any demand for bribes or corruption cases to its office near the MLA Hostel, Srinagar. Complaints can be filed via landline 0194-2455514, mobile 9419900977, or email hobacsgsr@cbi.gov.in.
The agency assured confidentiality of complainants and stressed public cooperation in the fight against corruption.
