MAY 6- In a tragic incident on Tuesday, two Army personnel lost their lives while two others sustained injuries after their vehicle met with an accident in the Teetwal sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

According to official sources, the accident occurred on Reyala Murchana Road near the Gobi Post when the Army vehicle, which was on operational duty, skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge.

The impact of the crash resulted in the immediate death of two jawans, while two others were critically injured. The injured soldiers were airlifted to the 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar for advanced medical care.

Authorities confirmed that the bodies of the deceased were shifted to Tangdhar hospital for medico-legal procedures. A formal case has been registered, and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is underway.
