New Delhi, May 9: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday conducted a comprehensive review of the national security situation with the country’s top military leadership, a day after Indian forces successfully foiled Pakistan’s attempted strikes on military installations.
The high-level meeting was attended by Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, and Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh.
According to sources, the evolving security scenario and operational preparedness across all fronts were discussed in detail during the deliberations.
