A man was allegedly murdered by his wife and her lover after he discovered their extramarital affair in Haryana’s Bhiwani district, police said. The incident, which took place in March, came to light following a police investigation into the man’s disappearance.
The accused, Ravina—a YouTuber—and her partner Suresh, reportedly strangled her husband, Praveen, after he caught them in a compromising situation. According to police, the couple had a turbulent relationship, often arguing over Ravina’s social media activity. Praveen, an alcoholic, had been married to Ravina since 2017. They have a six-year-old son, Mukul.
Investigations revealed that nearly two years ago, Ravina had connected with Suresh, another YouTuber from Hisar, through Instagram. Their online friendship gradually turned romantic.
On the night of March 25, Praveen returned home and allegedly caught Ravina and Suresh together, sparking a heated confrontation. Later that night, the two accused reportedly strangled Praveen to death.
In a shocking twist, CCTV footage captured the duo riding a bike with Praveen’s lifeless body placed between them. They are believed to have dumped the body in a drain on the outskirts of the city.
After Praveen was reported missing by his family, police launched a search operation. His decomposed body was discovered three days later. During questioning, Ravina confessed to the murder. She has since been arrested and sent to jail, while a manhunt is underway to apprehend Suresh, who remains at large.
