Srinagar, June 4: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday handed over disbursal letters to six beneficiaries under the Mission YUVA initiative at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar, with financial assistance amounting to ₹1.12 crore.
The event underscored the Jammu and Kashmir Government’s continued commitment to promoting youth entrepreneurship and generating employment opportunities across the Union Territory.
Officials informed that under Mission YUVA, a total of ₹209 crore has been disbursed in 3,367 cases during the months of April and May this year. The initiative aims to support aspiring entrepreneurs by providing financial assistance and enabling them to establish sustainable business ventures.
