Delhi: Al Falah Group Chairman Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui was produced before the Saket Court on Tuesday following his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) case.
Siddiqui was taken into custody by the ED on November 18 as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged financial irregularities linked to the company. After being presented before the court today, the judge ordered 14 days of judicial custody.
He has been sent to jail and is scheduled to be produced before the court again on December 15.
