Srinagar, Aug 8 — Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma has instructed officials to take stern action against the so-called “chilled chicken mafia” allegedly operating across the Kashmir Valley.
The directive came during a series of meetings at his office, where the Minister interacted with various delegations, including representatives of the Mutton Association. The delegations raised concerns over the difficulties in sourcing livestock from outside states to Jammu & Kashmir.
Sharma assured the visiting groups that the government would extend all possible support to address their grievances and streamline livestock procurement to the Union Territory.
