BUENOS AIRES, July 5 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Buenos Aires on Friday evening for a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening India’s strategic partnership with Argentina.
Modi was received with a ceremonial welcome at the Ezeiza International Airport, marking the beginning of a visit focused on deepening bilateral cooperation across key sectors.
“Landed in Buenos Aires for a bilateral visit which will focus on augmenting relations with Argentina. I’m eager to be meeting President Javier Milei and holding detailed talks with him,” the Prime Minister said in a post on X.
During his stay, Prime Minister Modi is expected to hold wide-ranging discussions with President Javier Milei to review ongoing collaboration and explore new avenues in areas such as trade, energy, agriculture, and technology.
The visit underscores India’s commitment to expanding ties with Latin American nations and fostering a more robust engagement with Argentina, a key regional partner.
