NEW DELHI, April 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday strongly condemned the Pahalgam terror attack, assuring that those responsible — including the perpetrators and conspirators — will face the harshest possible punishment. He pledged that justice will be delivered to the victims.
Addressing the nation in his monthly Mann Ki Baat radio programme, the Prime Minister said the unwavering solidarity of Indians in the fight against terrorism remains the country’s greatest strength.
“My heart is heavy with pain, and every Indian is seething with anger over this horrific attack,” Modi said, referring to the deadly assault that claimed the lives of 26 civilians, most of them tourists.
He emphasized that the government stands firmly with the victims’ families and vowed that the sacrifices would not go in vain.
