Amman (Jordan), December 15, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Amman on Monday, marking the first leg of his three-nation tour, undertaken at the invitation of King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan.

During his two-day visit from December 15 to 16, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to hold wide-ranging talks with King Abdullah II to review the entire spectrum of India–Jordan relations. The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in key areas, including trade, investment, defence, education, and cultural exchange.

The two leaders will also exchange views on regional and global developments of mutual interest, particularly the evolving situation in West Asia and issues related to peace, stability, and security in the region.

India and Jordan share warm and friendly relations rooted in historical ties, mutual respect, and close people-to-people contacts. Prime Minister Modi’s visit is expected to further deepen the partnership and provide renewed momentum to bilateral engagement.
