SRINAGAR: The next Jammu and Kashmir Assembly session is expected in the first or second week of September, Cabinet Minister Javid Ahmad Dar said on Friday.
Dar noted that holding the session within six months is a legal requirement and assured the government’s commitment to it. He also highlighted rural development as a key priority, with reforms in agriculture aimed at boosting yields and farmer incomes through high-density and quality crop varieties.
On water supply, Dar said the Jal Shakti Department is working under the Jal Jeevan Mission to ensure clean drinking water for every household.
