November 26 — Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, accompanied by his Cabinet colleagues, on WEdnesday e-inaugurated five major development projects worth ₹13.54 crore for Poonch district, aimed at boosting essential services and improving living standards in the region.
The newly inaugurated projects include a modern compost-making unit at Mendhar designed to support sustainable agriculture and waste management, as well as several Water Supply Schemes (WSS) across Haveli and Surankote. Officials said these initiatives will significantly strengthen agricultural productivity, expand access to safe drinking water, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents.
