SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is expected to release the Class 12 examination results by the end of April, sources familiar with the development have revealed.
According to officials within JKBOSE, most of the work related to result compilation has been completed. “Only a few formalities remain. If everything goes as planned, the results should be out by April 30,” said an official, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Although the official date has not yet been confirmed, the board is reportedly making every effort to stick to the timeline, as directed by the Education Department. “The announcement could shift by a day or two, but we’re aiming for the end of the month,” the source added.
Earlier this year, Education Minister Sakina Masood Itoo chaired a departmental meeting, instructing the Board to ensure that the results for Classes 10, 11, and 12 are declared before the month concludes.
Examinations for students in the soft zone areas were held between February 15 and March 17, 2025, while those in the hard zone appeared for their exams from February 20 to March 20, 2025.
