Srinagar, July 22:
Party General Secretary and Khanyar MLA, Ali Mohammad Sagar, who also serves as Chairman of the Public Undertakings Committee, chaired a high-level review meeting with officials from the Public Works Department (PWD) today. The session focused on assessing the progress of ongoing infrastructure projects across the region.

During the meeting, Sagar emphasized the need for quality, transparency, and accountability in all PWD-led initiatives. He urged officials to expedite work on critical projects, keeping in view public convenience and the broader goal of sustainable development.

Key agenda items included the status of road upgrades, bridge constructions, and urban planning measures aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and accessibility. The veteran leader also highlighted the importance of adhering to deadlines and ensuring optimal use of public funds.

“As representatives of the people, it is our duty to ensure that every rupee spent translates into visible, meaningful change on the ground,” Sagar stated. “Our focus must remain on delivering infrastructure that serves long-term public interest.”

Reiterating his commitment to public welfare, Sagar called for greater coordination among departments to eliminate delays and ensure impactful outcomes. The meeting concluded with directives to intensify monitoring mechanisms and maintain transparency throughout the execution process.
