5-Year-Old Student Killed, 4 Injured as Rock Hits School in Poonch

SRINAGAR: A tragic incident occurred in Banch, Poonch on Monday when a rock rolled down a nearby mountain and struck the Government Primary School Kalissan, killing a 5-year-old student and injuring four others.According to CMO Poonch, Dr. P.A. Khan, the injured students were rushed to District Hospital Poonch for treatment.The deceased has been identified as Ehsan Ali (5), son of Mohd Razaq of Kalsan Bhainch. The injured include Mohd Safeer (7), Bilal Farooq (8), Aftab Ahmed (6), and Tobia Kouser (7), all residents of Bhainch.
