Srinagar, April 23– Government employees across Jammu and Kashmir observed a two-minute silence at 3:30 PM today in a solemn tribute to the innocent civilians who lost their lives in the recent terror attack in Pahalgam.

The collective act of mourning was observed simultaneously across various government offices in the Union Territory. The silence served as a gesture of solidarity with the victims and their families, and as a mark of respect for the precious lives lost to the senseless violence.

The Pahalgam attack, which claimed several civilian lives, has sent shockwaves across the region, drawing widespread condemnation and grief.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah acknowledged the moment, stating on social media, “Joined fellow citizens across J&K in observing two minutes of silence… A moment of shared grief, unity, and resolve.”

The Jammu and Kashmir administration has reiterated its commitment to ensuring peace and justice in the region, vowing to bring the perpetrators of the attack to justice.
