Srinagar, May 17: The Self Enumeration process under the first phase of Census 2027 has officially commenced across Jammu & Kashmir, enabling citizens to submit their household details online through the dedicated Self Enumeration portal.
The initiative aims to make the census process more accessible, efficient, and citizen-friendly by allowing residents to complete the enumeration process conveniently from anywhere using digital platforms.
Meanwhile, Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, in a post on X, described Census 2027 as historically significant, stating that it is India’s first fully digital and paperless census exercise integrating advanced digital technologies, mobile-based data collection systems, and self-enumeration mechanisms.
